Repeat after me: The best things in life are free.
It’s that time of year when our wallets are lighter than we’d like them to be and plans to rectify that in the following year have commenced.
Assuming you didn’t follow the advice of my last post determining wants and needs, I’m pretty sure you are in no position to shell out extra cash right now. That’s why I’m sharing some totally FREE printables and worksheets to help you get the new year started on the right track.

If you want to start the new year on track, check out these printables for finances, blog goals and more.
If you are looking to give yourself a gift, get organized in the new year and keep more money in your pocket, I recommend checking out the following free printables from fellow bloggers. Full disclosure: I haven’t used all of these free printables as yet. However, if I haven’t personally used it, I was sure they had great feedback from users.
Financial Planning Workbook from Damsel no Distress – The Financial Planning workbook from the Damsel No Distress blog isn’t on my list just because the creator is my girl from college, but it’s actually a pretty inclusive workbook. She’s included a page for analyzing income, expenses and debt owed. My favorite page is the financial goal page where you can break down your financial goals into one month, three month and six month goals.
Baby on a Budget Printable from Life and a Budget – It is no joke when they say babies are expensive. From the carseats, to bottles to onesies you can really spend a fortune. The Baby on a Budget worksheet from the Life and a Budget blog helps you breakdown those costs and accurately budget for them. I like that she includes a column for what you except to spend on said baby item versus what you actually spent. I only wish I found this printable while I still pregnant.
Extra Income Spreadsheet from SquakFox – Everybody knows that it’s important to track your income. That’s why it’s never hard to find income trackers and printables for the typical 9 to 5 job. But what about those who don’t have the typical 9-5 job, like my husband and I? My husband and I are both freelancers so our income ranges a wide variety of sources and there never seemed to be a worksheet or tracker that worked for us. Then I found Squakfox. Her extra income spreadsheet is like gold for those of us with variable incomes.
Daily Habit Tracker from Life on Waller – I don’t know about you but I definitely have some habits I slack on. The problem with habits is that you don’t even realize how infrequently you do them. That’s where the daily habit tracker from Life on Waller comes in. The tracker is a blank sheet with boxes allowing you to color in the days in which you complete said habit. It’s really satisfying to see how frequently or infrequently I do crunches, drink water, etc.
Blogging Goal Setter from Elite Blog Academy: If you’re a blogger, you know how important it is to set goals and milestones for your blog. I haven’t used this resource yet but I plan to because of the rave reviews I’ve heard. It’s a great sheet to help you figure out goals and purpose for your blog.
Are you a fan of printables? Let me know which ones are your favorites. How do you keep yourself organized throughout the year?
